College Admissions Consulting

Getting into the college of your dreams isn’t just about testing well. Elite institutions are looking for exceptionally well-rounded students who excel in all areas.

Our college admissions consulting is based on an holistic approach to make sure that, when it comes time to apply, our students have already checked all the boxes.

How we can help

We focus our college admissions consulting on twenty areas of opportunity. Eight of those, seen below, comprise our pillars of focus.

Our college consulting program is offered annually and incorporates a robust tutoring component.

Volunteering

We begin exploring meaningful volunteering opportunities in a student’s freshman year. We discuss the value of volunteering, the right kind of opportunities based on student goals, and how to begin the process.

College Applications

We assist students with establishing a realistic timeline for their target colleges, then by identifying their preferred application type, and finally by focusing on essays.

Extracurriculars

We begin working with students during freshman year to identify extracurricular activities that coincide with their interests, skills, and goals. This includes both in-school and external options, and is contingent upon the student’s preferences.

Standardized Testing

We provide students with diagnostic tests to help them understand if the ACT or SAT is best for their testing profile.

College Search & Identification

We assist students in identifying the right type of colleges by focusing on factors that will impact the student’s experience before, during, and after college.

Scholarship Identification

We help students identify scholarships and apply to those scholarships once accepted into a college or university.

Mock Application Cycles

We value exposing students to the college application process during the summer between sophomore and junior year for a variety of reasons. This means that students can get an entire year ahead of schedule by writing these essays early.

Financing College

Information will be provided to students and their families before, during, and after college acceptances are received in order to educate them on the proper ways to view financing their college educations.
